This game is a must-win for West Ham and Moyes will not want to let it go to waste. His side had nine shots that half but just one went on target and that must improve in the second half if they are to get a much-needed win. Cooper will be pleased with how his Forest side defended for large periods of the first half. Their task now will be to provide Wood with greater service and support and see if they can grow into the game and get a winner in the second half.

A lack of quality in the final third has let down both sides as this game remains goalless at half-time. West Ham started the brighter side and have continued to have the lion's share of the ball and the chances throughout the half. Pacqueta's early shot deflected off Ings, then Felipe and onto the post before Ings again wasted a good opportunity with a header from close range. Forest have rarely threatened going forward but set-piece delivery, in particular, has let them down when they have had openings.
