At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. Arsenal look set to be the busiest club as the deadline rapidly approaches. With no money to spend loans are on the agenda with moves for Inter Milan's Ivan Perisic, Barcelona's Denis Suarez and PSG's Christopher Nkunku being frantically worked on. Chelsea have made the biggest splash with the signing of Borussia Dortmund's Christian Pulisic but could well add more after seeing Gonzalo Higuain arriving from AC Milan on loan. The future of Callum Hudson-Odoi remains in the balance, however.
Manchester United are flying - could Ole Gunnar Solskjaer add to his in-form squad this month? - while Manchester City and Liverpool could look to dip their toes in the water with the title race looking set to go right down to the wire. We will have all the latest news, views, rumours, gossip and done deals right here so don't touch that dial.

Real Madrid have apparently made Eden Hazard their No 1 target this summer.
The Belgian star is yet to pen a new contract at Chelsea and has routinely been linked with a move to the Bernabeu.
And, according to AS, Real are ready to push ahead with what could be a £100m move after cooling their interest in Tottenham's Christian Eriksen.
Alvaro Morata says he's delighted to fulfil his "destiny" and return to his boyhood club Atletico Madrid after sealing an 18-month loan deal.
The Spaniard has endured a torrid last 12 months at Stamford Bridge, having joined Chelsea from Atleti's city rivals Real Madrid in 2017, scoring 16 goals in 47 league games.
He has often looked devoid of confidence in front of goal in England, losing the faith of both former Chelsea coach Antonio Conte and current Blues boss Maurizio Sarri.
"I'm absolutely made up and so proud to be here," he told a news conference after officially signing his deal
West Ham academy talent Grady Diangana has spoken after committing his future to the club.
The 20-year-old (pictured below left, receiving his Premier League debut ball) had been linked with a loan to Rangers, but after signing a new long-term contract he looks set to stay with the West Ham first-team until the end of the season.
“Getting the new contract gives me confidence that the club believe in me and it allows me to know I have time to improve and get better as a player, so I’m grateful,” he said.
“When I first got the opportunity to play against Macclesfield, he told me to take it and now I look back at it, being given that opportunity and doing what I did has opened up doors for me. Now, it’s about kicking on and the hardest bit is to come, to prove to everyone that I am worthy of playing at such a high level.
"I’d like to cement myself as a Premier League player week in week out, scoring a lot of goals and assisting my team, but I’m not really looking too far ahead."
To Crystal Palace who want to sign Chelsea's Gary Cahill on loan before Thursday's deadline.
That's according to The Sun.
They say that should the Eagles land the 33-year-old former England international then fellow central defender Scott Dann will join Fulham, also on loan.
A snippet from life at Monaco right now, where it seems things have become rather chaotic. Gelson Martins joined on Sunday on loan from Atletico Madrid.
It sounds like the young Belgian talent Youri Tielemans could be on his way to the King Power Stadium. That would be quite a coup for Leicester, although we thought that about Adrien Silva and things haven't quite gone to plan, have they.
Newcastle United appear to closing in on the highly rated Atlanta United midfielder Miguel Almiron.
Reports had suggested the deal was struggling to get over the line but the Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting tonight that the transfer is close. AJC writes:
Atlanta United and Newcastle agreed to terms on Tuesday on the transfer of Miguel Almiron, according to a person close to the player.
Almiron, one of the best players in MLS the past two seasons, is flying to Newcastle on Tuesday for a physical.
Almiron, 24, helped Atlanta United win the MLS Cup last season. In two seasons, he has scored 21 goals, added 28 assists and twice been named an All-Star.
He will join a Newcastle side that is fighting to avoid relegation in the Premier League. Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez reportedly made Almiron his top transfer target in the January window to try to help the team improve upon its 21 points, which is just two above the 18th-place team on the table.
Financial terms aren’t yet known, but Atlanta United President Darren Eales has said that he values the Paraguayan at $30 million. Newcastle, notoriously thrifty, has reportedly not wanted to offer more than $20 million.
