The Premier League transfer window may be shut but there’s still plenty to follow as European clubs look to finalise their plans this summer, while the deadline day fallout continues to be revealed with the details on every move that did and didn’t happen leaking out.

Everton and Fulham got their cheque books out to dominate the headlines, with the Toffees landing Fc Barcelona duo Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes, as well as Shakhtar Donetsk forward Bernard. They could yet sign Kurt Zouma from Chelsea on loan, with confirmation yet to come on the late, late talks. Fulham meanwhile broke their transfer record with the signing of Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa for around £30m, while Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Luciano Vietto, Sergio Rico and Joe Bryan also moved to Craven Cottage.

Then there’s Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, who failed to sign anyone on deadline day – the latter becoming the first club not to sign a player in the summer at all since the transfer window was introduced – and we’ll bring you the latest fallout from the disappointing windows.

With the European transfer window still open, we will have all the latest news, late done deals plus all the latest reaction right here so don't touch that dial.

Real Madrid's move for former Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois last week appears to have had an after-effect on Manchester United, as the club are now ready to press on with contract talks to tie down goalkeeperDavid de Gea.

The Spaniard is into the final year of his contract - albeit United have a one-year extension that they would almost certainly trigger - and with Madrid's interest now non-existent following the signing of Belgian No 1 Courtois, United are poised to secure De Gea's long-term future.

Marseille are showing interest in Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny, according to The Daily Mirror.

The additions of Uruguay's Lucas Torreira and Frenchman Mattéo Guendouzi have seen competition for places in the Gunners' midfield increase, despite the departure of Jack Wilshere to West Ham.

The 26-year-old Egyptian, who was an unused substitute in Arsenal's opening-game loss to champions Manchester City, may follow Wilshere out of the Emirates, even though he signed a new four-year contract at Arsenal as recently as March.

The French side are said to be keen on Elneny as a replacement for André-Frank Zambo Anguissa, who joined Fulham for a club record of £30m on Thursday's deadline for British clubs.
