With the window shutting soon, interest in players is likely to spike in the coming days, with Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham and more all looking to strengthen or slim down their squads ahead of the second half of the season.
Today’s rumour mill involves Arsenal who are close to completing a loan deal for talented Norwegian midfielder Martin Odegaard. The deal is thought to cost Arsenal around £2.5m in fees plus the 22-year-old’s wages as he seeks game time away from Real Madrid. Meanwhile there is a battle on for 16-year-old Derby talent Kaide Gordon, and Liverpool are reported to be winning the race for the winger ahead of Manchester United and Tottenham.
United meanwhile could reward Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for positioning the club in the thick of the title picture, though there could be many outgoings at Old Trafford, too, with Juan Mata linked to his former club Valencia. Newcastle United have had a loan-to-buy bid for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Matheus Nunes rejected, according to Portuguese newspaper O Jogo, while West Ham lead the race for Jesse Lingard after the arrival of Atalanta teenager Amad Diallo made Lingard’s exit inevitable. CHELSEA LINKED WITH MARQUINHOS
Chelsea may consider a move for Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos after the imminent appointment of Thomas Tuchel, claim Eurosport.
The Brazil international has previously been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, and was a favourite of Tuchel's during his time in the French capital.
Any such deal would be "difficult", but the Tuchel factor could mean a switch to the Premier League is a possibility for Marquinhos.
WEST HAM DISCUSS AVAILABILITY OF BARCELONA FULL-BACK
West Ham have called Barcelona to discuss the potential availability of Barcelona left-back Junior Firpo, according to Sport.
The Hammers have been linked with the 24-year-old throughout the January window, and David Moyes reportedly contacted Barcelona directly.
But Firpo has "prioritised" a move to AC Milan, who want to take the Spaniard on a six-month loan with an option to buy for around €20m.

NEWCASTLE MOVE FOR SAMPDORIA DEFENDER
Newcastle have made an approach to sign Sampdoria centre-back Omar Colley, according to Primo Canale.
Steve Bruce is reportedly keen to upgrade his defensive options after a dismal run of form in the Premier League.
And Colley could be available, with Sampdoria said to be "not indifferent" towards a sale.
The 28-year-old was linked with Newcastle in January last year and during the summer transfer window, but a move didn't materialise.
PARKER ADMITS JANUARY SIGNINGS WILL BE ‘DIFFICULT’ FOR FULHAM
Fulham boss Scott Parker has acknowledged the "challenge" he faces in bringing in new signings before the close of the January window.
"It is going to be difficult for us to be honest," he said. "We understand where we need to improve, we’re a team that have just come up from the Championship and the void to the teams who are established is huge.
"You need to try and be competitive, need to evolve and bring players in. At the same time the balance of expenditure and a realism of where you are is needed.
"At this moment in time it is going to be a challenge for us. If that is the case I understand and we all understand the situation."
INTER REJECT ERIKSEN OFFER
Inter have turned down a loan offer for Christian Eriksen from Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin, according to Sky Sports Deustchland.
The German club reportedly wanted Inter to pay a significant percentage of the midfielder's wages, but that proposal was dismissed.
Instead, the Italian giants hope to sell Eriksen, and will only consider loan offers that include full payment of the former Spurs player's €7.5m a year salary.
CHELSEA FULL-BACK SET FOR LOAN EXIT
Chelsea left-back Baba Rahman is close to joining Greek side PAOK on a six-month loan, according to Goal.

CSKA MOSCOW WANT EVERTON STRIKER
Everton forward Cenk Tosun is the subject of interest from Russian side CSKA Moscow, according to the Athletic.
The Turkey international spent time on loan at Crystal Palace last season and has been on the periphery under Carlo Ancelotti since his return to Goodison Park.
CSKA are reportedly hopeful of agreeing a loan deal for the 29-year-old, though negotiations are still at an early stage.
