Then, just three minutes later, West Ham didn't know where to look as Son fired at Areola, and a combination of the goalkeeper and Todibo saw it trickle over the line. If Tottenham's final goal on the hour-mark signalled West Ham's ultimate second-half collapse with Son marking his return with aplomb, then the red card for Kudus was simply the icing on the cake. After a shoving match with Van de Ven, the Ghanaian then took to pushing Sarr in the face. Initially booked for the spat, he was given his marching orders after VAR reviewed the incident.
