PSG vs Barcelona LIVE: Champions League result and final score after five-goal thriller in Paris
PSG 2-3 Barcelona: Barca withstood a second-half comeback to stun the hosts in Paris and take a narrow lead back to Spain
Raphinha scored twice to help Barcelona secure a 3-2 win at Paris Saint-Germain in their Champions League quarter-final first leg.
Barca dominated proceedings early on against the French side still looking for a first Champions League crown and led through a Raphinha strike in the 37th minute.
However, PSG piled on the pressure after the break and levelled in the 48th minute through a stunning Ousmane Dembele strike into the top corner before going ahead when Vitinha stroked the ball in two minutes later.
But Raphinha’s deft volley in the 62nd minute brought the match level again, before Andreas Christensen headed in from a corner 13 minutes from time to give the Spanish side a narrow advantage going into next week’s second leg.

PSG 0-0 Barcelona, 36 minutes
PSG launch a counter-attack at speed, which is ended by Sergi Roberto’s rugby tackle. The Barcelona skipper is booked and will miss the second leg.
Possession is exactly even so far. It’s been a nicely balanced half.
PSG 0-0 Barcelona, 33 minutes
Now Marquinhos and Lucas Hernandez get themselves in a muddle, the former heading into the latter’s back to concede a slightly soft corner.
Neat! A clever set-piece routine sends Raphinha cantering on to the ball but the winger can’t pierce the bodies between him and the goal.
PSG 0-0 Barcelona, 31 minutes
Gianluigi Donnarumma is wobbling a little here, a wayward pass under limited pressure almost granting Barcelona a chance.
PSG 0-0 Barcelona, 28 minutes
Kang-in Lee does get a shot away soon after, Marc-Andre ter Stegen bashing away. Kylian Mbappe is wiped out by Joao Cancelo as he tried to follow up, but Mbappe was offside at the time of Lee’s strike - a quick VAR check clears Cancelo of a serious offence that would necessitate a red card.
PSG 0-0 Barcelona, 27 minutes
Ousmane Dembele tries to connect with Kylian Mbappe, pulling out to the edge of the area and in fine shooting position, but Sergi Roberto nips in to deny the French forward the opportunity.
PSG 0-0 Barcelona, 23 minutes
Top save! No-one is helping Gianluigi Donnarumma out here, the Italian sprawling to his left to tip Raphinha’s scudding shot past the post.
PSG 0-0 Barcelona, 20 minutes
Off the line! Gianluigi Donnarumma charges out to try and punch the set piece, but doesn’t get there, leaving him rather grateful for the fast-thinking Nuno Mendes, who scrambles back to hook Robert Lewandowski’s looping header away.
PSG 0-0 Barcelona, 19 minutes
Lovely feet from Nuno Mendes, almost apparating through Jules Kounde. Ronald Araujo steps across to block Mendes’ drive.
That’s good from Barcelona, too. A nice passing move creates a bit of open space for Raphinha to run into, Marquinhos closing down his compatriot and blockingn behind.
PSG 0-0 Barcelona, 15 minutes
Ousmane Dembele’s speculative shot deflects away for a third PSG corner of these opening skirmishes. Marc-Andre ter Stegen claims in relative comfort.
PSG 0-0 Barcelona, 13 minutes
Barcelona aren’t happy as Lucas Beraldo dives into a tackle on Raphinha that leaves the Brazilian down in some discomfort. Anthony Taylor waves play on, and Beraldo is perhaps lucky not to be booked, the defender late and lunging from behind.
