From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Tottenham surged into a three-goal lead but were left hanging on to beat Wolves3-2 after Argentine debutant Juan Foyth conceded two second-half penalties on his first start in the Premier League.

Erik Lamela burst into the penalty area before rolling his shot under home goalkeeper Rui Patricio to open the scoring.

Tottenham added a second goal three minutes later when Lucas Moura powered in a free header, and the three points seemed assured when Harry Kane scored his eighth goal of the season in the 62nd minute after Rui Patricio saved his initial effort.

Wolves grabbed a lifeline with 22 minutes left. Kieran Trippier lost possession, 20-year-old center back Foyth fouled Raul Jimenez and Ruben Neves buried his penalty.

Jimenez pulled another goal back with another spot kick in the 79th after Foyth brought down defender Jonny, but fourth-place Tottenham defied Wolverhampton's late bid for an equalizer to move within three points of leader Liverpool.

95 mins: Arsenal 1 - 1 Liverpool

A few scrappy challenges for the ball bring the game to a close. The points are shared and I think it's a fair result. Liverpool weren't at their best but Arsenal were impressive.

That draw means that Liverpool move to top of the Premier League as Arsenal secure 4th. We've got one game left today as Tottenham travel to Wolves. Kick off for that comes at 7.45pm

Wolves 0 - 0 Tottenham

Tottenham start the game and try to work the ball down the left hand side. Lucas Moura makes a pass through the defence but it's too long and goes out for a goal kick.

3 mins: Wolves 0 - 0 Tottenham

Dembele is caught in a challenge with Costa and he needs treatment on his right leg. The physios take him off and the match continues.

6 mins: Wolves 0 - 0 Tottenham

Costa runs at Spurs from the right but he hits the defender and is stopped in his tracks. Tottenham are still without Dembele and he's subbed off for Son Heung-Min.

9 mins: Wolves 0 - 0 Tottenham

Son runs down the left wing and tries to force his way into the box but Wolves shut him out. There's been no clear cut chances in this game yet but Spurs have the ball.

12 mins: Wolves 0 - 0 Tottenham

Jimenez collects the ball from a throw in and turns towards goal. He fires a strike from 20 yards and narrowly sends it past the post. Wolves come at Spurs again Doherty receives the ball out wide before cutting in and taking a shot. It's a poor one though and it doesn't trouble the goalkeeper.

15 mins: Wolves 0 - 0 Tottenham

Spurs have started this game quite slowly. The injury to Dembele might have put them on the back foot but Wolves haven't been able to full capitalise on that yet. Son tries to get in behind the defence and create something for Spurs but he's offside.
