From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. Arsenal round up Saturday’s Premier League action with their trip just north of London to take on Marco Silva’s Watford.

The Hornets were on the wrong end of a hammering by Manchester City in their last Premier League game and will be looking to resume their bright start to the season under the former Hull City manager.

Arsenal on the other hand will be looking to continue their mini-revival after a poor start to the season.

What time does it start?

The game kicks off at 5.30pm BST on Saturday 14 October at Vicarage Road.

Where can I watch it?

The game will be shown live on BT Sport 1 from 5pm BST or alternatively you can follow along with The Independent’s live blog here.

It’s a big game for…

Mesut Ozil. There has been a lot of talk about the German in the build-up to this game after Arsene Wenger said Ozil actually wants to stay at the Emirates. He also claimed, despite Arsenal’s recent results, that the Gunners are a better team with Ozil in it so it will be up to him to prove it on Saturday.

Player to watch…

Alexis Sanchez. The forward suffered the brutal disappointment of missing out on the World Cup after Chile’s 3-0 defeat to Brazil over the international break and you can be sure he will be chomping at the bit to take out his pain on someone… watch out Watford.

Form…

Watford: LDLWLWD

Arsenal: WDWWWW

Odds…

Watford: 23/5

Arsenal: 4/6

Draw: 10/3

GOAL! Watford 2-1 Arsenal (Cleverley)

90+2' - Tom Cleverley wins it for Watford!

Jose Holebas takes aim from distance and sees his wayward shot blocked. The ball pinballs around the penalty area before landing at the feet of Tom Cleverley, who lashes the ball into the roof of the net. Incredible!
