Guardiola's side remains a project in progress, but City remain determined to finish in the top four of the table. A win today will put Manchester City ahead of Liverpool, but Southampton will not make this easy for their opponents.
The home side have lost just one of their previous six league fixtures and will be hunting for their third consecutive league victory for the first time under the management of Claude Puel. They will be hungry to defeat Guardiola's men on home turf.
Can the underdogs do it? We'll see.
Gabbiadini's return to the side will provide a huge boost for the home side following his impressive start for The Saints. He bagged six goals in five games before injuring his groin against Spurs.
During his absence, he was hugely missed within the club and his return will no boost his sides hopes of staying in the top half of the Premier League.
Kick off at 17:30.
