The referee blows for a foul on Matt Ritchie and Henri Saviet, who conceded possession in the build-up to West Ham's opener, takes the resulting free-kick, bending the ball beyond Adrian and into the bottom corner.
Manchester City 0-0 Bournemouth
City concede possession in a dangerous area as David Silva's pass hits referee Mark Jones and rebounds back to a Bournemouth player. The Cherries work the ball well down the right and Jordon Ibe's cross is turned just wide by Junior Stanislas.
Stanislas injures himself in the process of shooting and is replaced by Marc Pugh.

Andros Townsend almost gives Palace the lead in south Wales but his rifled effort is expertly tipped over the crossbar by Lukasz Fabianski. Wonderful play all-round.
