Arsenal vs Watford match report: Alex Iwobi stars in accomplished performance
A fantastic touch from Manchester United renaming one of their stands after Bobby Charlton. A true legend among the footballing greats.
1 min: Deulofeu earns his side the first throw-in of the game down the right flank. It's launched forward by Coleman but United get a foot in and boot the ball away. Game on.
3 min: James McCarthy has gone down and remains down after coming in late on United's Rojo. It looks like he may have suffered a slight twist to his ankle and his currently receiving treatment.
4 min: With McCarthy back on the pitch, play is back on way as Schneiderlin sprays a rather difficult ball out wide to Lingaard. He deals with it well though before being closed down. United throw-in.
5 min: Blind is caught under possession deep in United's final third. He tries to clear the ball from the right-hand corner but it takes a deflection and lands at Lukaku. He can't get it out of his feet though as he attempts to drive into the box and Smalling clears up the mess much to the relief of Blind.
8 min: United with the corner. Schneiderlin fires the ball across the deck and Smalling, having curved his run from the back post, comes to meet the ball on the penalty spot. He doesn't make a full connection with it though and his effort takes a deflection off the Everton defence. The Toffees react quickly to clear any existing danger and the ball is hoofed away.
11 min: Everton with the free-kick from the right flank. He curves it towards the back post with both sides scrambling to get their first. The two teams scramble for the ball as it bounces off a United head just in front of De Gea but the home side eventually seize control and clear the danger.
13 min: Martial looks for the switch ball to Rashford out wide but his pass falls short allowing McCarthy to nick possession. He drives into the United half and picks out Lukaku ahead of him on the edge of the United box who holds up play waiting for Barkley to make a run. He can't make a clean pass though and Blind steps in to intercept the pass to Barkley.
