Predicted United line-up:
De Gea; Fosu-Mensah, Bailly, Tuanzebe, Shaw; Herrera, Carrick, Mata; Mkhitaryan, Young, Depay.
GOAL! Manchester United 1-3 Borussia Dortmund (Mkhitaryan, 59 min): A sweet ball along the deck from Valencia on the half way line cuts through the entirety of the Dortmund defence to thread Mata into the right-hand side of the box. Weidenfeller rushes from his line to confront the player but the Spaniard selflessly cuts it across the box to an incoming Mkhitaryan who slots the ball into an open goal.
62 min - Manchester United 1-3 Borussia Dortmund: The Germans have made seven changes (yes, you read that right...). All change for the men in yellow which sees former United man Shinji Kagawa take his leave.
GOAL! Manchester United 1-4 Borussia Dortmund (Castro, 86 min): Another goal for Castro and what a goal it was. The Dortmund player drives with the ball down the centre of the park before the space opens up just to his right as Pulisic takes Rojo away from his teammate with a smart run. From outside the box on the right-hand side, Castro absolutely fires the ball across the goal and into the top left-hand side corner.
90 min - Manchester United 1-4 Borussia Dortmund: Rashford tries to grab a late goal for United as he weaves his way through a hoard of yellow shirts in Dortmund's final third. Driving through the centre of the pitch, he makes his way into the opponents' box but is dispossessed with a last-ditch challenge that pushes the ball beyond the reach of the England man.
92 min - Manchester United 1-4 Borussia Dortmund: Interestingly it's Juan Mata who has been wearing the captain's armband for the last 20 minutes or so. Could that be a sure sign that the player is definitely set to stay at United after rumours had suggested he would be set to leave? Jose did recently remark that there was "space" for the Spaniard in his squad but added that any players who were "unhappy" at Old Trafford were free to leave the club.
