It’s a big game for…

Luciano Narsingh: The January addition could be the driving force behind a struggling Swansea side. The 28-year-old has phenomenal pace that could cause an upset in the final third.

Best stat…

Swansea have never won away to Liverpool in the Premier League. Is it time for the Swans to put an end to this curse?

Remember when…

Jose Enqirue finished off a superb team move to put the game to bed against Swansea, showing his individual ability and Liverpool's strength going forward. The Swans will be glad that he’s not in Saturday’s side.

Player to watch…

James Milner: The 31-year-old has scored in three of his last appearances against Swansea, so Paul Clement’s men will be hoping that he will not continue this tradition at Anfield.

25 MINS

Lallana sends a clever ball over the top and it finds Coutinho through on goal, but much to the relief of the Swansea fans, the offside flag goes up.

27 MINS

Milner delivers a teasing ball towards the box, but it flies over the head of Firmino and Lallana. Clyne should have been charging towards the back post there to pick up the pieces. The Reds are looking dangerous going forward.

30 MINS

With over thirty minutes gone, Clement will no doubt be happy with scoreline so far, but he will demand more from his side in possession. They've showed glimpses of brilliance, but it's not enough to pose any real threat for the Liverpool defence.

33 MINS

Lallana begins a Liverpool move and feeds Coutinho, who pokes the ball through to Firmino. The Brazilian pulls the trigger, but it's a tremendous block from Mawson to put the ball the out for a corner kick.

Coutinho finds Firmino, but the delivery into the box is once again blocked by Mawson. The 23-year-old defender has done well so far today, stopping countless Liverpool moves.

The ball rolls to Lovren on the edge of the box, who takes a rather comical strike on goal from distance. It dribbles wide.

Lallana delivers yet another cross into the box and Firmino fails to test Fabianski from close range. The home side continue to attack the Swansea goal, but it remains that Carroll has still come the closest to breaking the deadlock.

Klopp's men resiliently attack the visitors final third, but Swansea are maintaining their shape at the back and will be very happy to enter the interval level.

There will be one additional minute this half.

HALF TIME

The sides enter the interval at 0-0, despite the home side controlling the majority of the fixture so far. Swansea deserve credit for their persistent defending throughout, with The Red's failing to convert in front of goal. Carroll has come the closest to scoring the opener for the visitors, just to be denied by the woodwork.

It's all to play for in the second half. Stay tuned.
