Jurgen Klopp, taking charge of his first full season at Anfield, will be looking to mastermind an improvement on their disappointing eighth-place finish last season. However he faces an incredible tough start. A home game against Burnley follows the opening match before games against Tottenham, champions Leicester and then Chelsea.
