Here we go, the teams are coming out of the tunnel. Kick off is just minutes away.
1: We're off. The John Smith is deafening, if the 12th man counts for anything, it will be important today.
5: City, as expected, are moving the ball left to right and back again in an attempt to tease out Huddersfield. They win a corner and Leroy Sane takes an out-swinger which Huddersfield clear for another corner. Kevin De Bruyne takes and finds Vincent Kompany who heads wide.
10: Huddersfield enjoy a short spell in City's final third but Fabian Delph dispossession Tom Ince and wins a free kick.
12: Manchester City have the ball in the net but the flag is up. Kevin De Bruyne takes a quick free kick and crosses to Sergio Aguero who puts the ball in the net from an offside position.
Blimey. This might go some way to explaining why City have enjoyed 73% of the ball so far.
16: Huddersfield break from a corner and Tom Ince does well to find Tommy Smith who drives forward, cuts inside from the left flank and shoots over the bar.
18: Hudderfield clear a corner and as the ball falls to Tom Ince, Fabian Delph raises a foot and catches the Huddersfield player on the leg. A free kick is given but no yellow card much to the annoyance of those inside the John Smith stadium.
