Arsenal survived a scare to grind out a win over Huddersfield Town to boost their hopes of finishing inside the top four.

The Gunners raced into a 2-0 lead thanks to Alex Iwobi and Alexandre Lacazette.

But Town responded well, but their goal came too late to provide more pressure in pursuit of a point, with Sead Kolasinac putting through his own net in stoppage time.

Half Time: Brighton 0-1 Burnley

So, its the visitors who lead at the break.

Chris Wood's eighth goal of the season saw Burnley go ahead just after the halfway point of the half, capitalising on a slip from Brighton captain Lewis Dunk to fire past Mat Ryan.

Wood probably should have put Sean Dyche's men ahead earlier on, but he headed on to the bar on the rebound after Duffy had blocked McNeil's cross on to the frame of the goal as well.

Brighton definitely posed a threat though, particularly down Solly March's side, and definitely could have had a goal or more had it not been for the fantastic Tom Heaton, who is surely challenging Pickford as England no.1

Still all to play for though at the Amex, but Brighton will need to find a way of breaking the stern resistance Burnley have offered so far.

Brighton have had twice the number of shots at the visitors but are yet to score on another frustrating evening so far for Chris Hughton.

Can they turn it around in the second half?

It's coming up in a few minutes.

Back underway again. Is there a comeback for the hosts in the offing under a torrent of rain at the Amex?

Early second-half change for Brighton, and it is not good news for their hopes of an equaliser.

Solly March was Brighton's biggest threat in th first 45 minutes, but he has had to come off after not being able to continue following an injury, and is replaced by Anthony Knockaert.

Brighton have started the half strongly, and the pressure leads to a penalty appeal after Ashley Barnes appears to wipe out Knockaert.

Replays show the Burnley forward got the ball however.

58 min: Brighton 0-1 Burnley

It's all Brighton at the moment but they have not had the crosses to match it so far.

Bong and Knockaert have been poor out wide so far in this half.

But another bout of pressure ends with Pascal Gross' measured strike flying over the bar.

GOAL! Brighton 0-2 Burnley (Wood 62')

Erm, where on earth has that come from.

McNeil easily beats Stephens at feeds Wood, whose first-time shot should be saved by Ryan, but the Australian can only help it into the far corner.

Is that the killer blow from the visitors at the Amex!

65 min: Brighton 0-2 Burnley

That goal has prompted Chris Hughton into action with a double substitution.

Locadia and Gross are replaced by Bissouma and Jahanbakhsh.
