From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. Manchester United saw off Fulham with plenty to spare as they moved into the top four in the Premier League.

Two goals from Paul Pogba and a third from Anthony Martial were more than enough as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's unbeaten run was extended to 11 at Craven Cottage.

Here's how it played out:

↵74 min: Fulham 0-3 Manchester United

A first opportunity of the half for Fulham, but only a half a chance there really.

Christie whips the ball over and Mitrovic, leaning back, forces De Gea to spring to his left to claim his effort.

Substitution for the visitors, with Pogba denied the chance for a hat-trick as he is replaced by McTominay.

The substitute nearly makes an instant impact, glancing his header from Alexis' cross just over.

Just before McTominay's effort, the Chilean should have made it four but Rico did well to deny the Chilean when clean through.

I don't quiet know how that's stayed out!

A ball from the left is put on a plate for Babel a few yards out courtesy of Phil Jones, but the Dutchman can only strike the post with the goal gaping.

Change for the hosts, as Tom Cairney replaces Ryan Babel.

A very poor outing for the former Liverpool man.

A host of substitutions continue, with Ryan Sessegnon replacing Joe Bryan for the final ten minutes or so.

United are completely dominant here and it this game is not surprisingly petering out to a dull end.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer does the sensible thing with PSG up on Tuesday, with Herrera replaced by Eric Bailly.

Five minutes plus added time for this nightmare to end for the hosts.

88 min: Fulham 0-3 Manchester United

Not a bad effort from Cairney, who takes the ball down 25 yards out but his effort poses no threat to De Gea's goal.

Frustrations boil over though, and it's not exactly a surprise to see Mitrovic involved with David De Gea.

Both players receive yellow cards.

Full Time: Fulham 0-3 Manchester United

Some damning statements from Gary Neville on commentary as the game is brought to an end.

The former Man United right-back says the hosts lacked the physicality to deal with the visitors, and on evidence, that can be more than justified.

Paul Pogba delivered a startling display which saw him score a double, becoming the player with the most goals under Solskjaer for United.

Martial's stunning solo effort was sandwiched in between his countryman's goals, as the Red Devils go into the top four.

Claudio Ranieri is seen venting his anger whilst storming off the pitch at Craven Cottage. It doesn't look pretty for Fulham at the bottom of the league, and with home fixtures against Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City to come, their Premier League status looks under serious threat.

It's PSG in the Champions League next for United, but make sure you join us now for all the build up and coverage for the 3pm games on our live blog, and thank you for joining us for this one which has comfortably seen United run out 3-0 winners.

They're now back in the top four, one point above Chelsea who face Manchester City tomorrow.
