In that streak, the team has 33 goals and has not conceded a goal in the last six games — a first under Guardiola.
Wolverhampton Wanderers avoided becoming the latest Premier League casualty only by scoring in the third minute of injury time to salvage a 2-2 draw at third-tier Shrewsbury.
Wolves, who knocked out Liverpool in the third round, rested key players for the game despite not being in genuine danger of relegation in its first season back in the Premier League.
In an all-Premier League matchup, Watford won 2-0 at Newcastle, which hasn't progressed beyond the fourth round since 2006. Brighton was taken to a replay by second-tier West Bromwich Albion after a 0-0 draw.

A classic from the big Scot, who rises to meet Leroy Fer's cross and finish beyond the keeper.
14 min: Shrewsbury 0-0 Wolves
A better chance for Wolves as Adama Traore plays in Helder Costa, but his first touch is too strong and he's denied by a Luke Waterfall tackle. Timid claims for a penalty, but the referee waves them away.
15 min: Brighton 0-0 West Brom
Not a great deal of action to tell you about at the Amex currently besides a couple of corners for the hosts. The visitors made nine changes for this fourth-round clash.
16 min: Manchester City 0-0 Burnley
That's a great save from Nick Pope.
Kyle Walker flies down the right-hand side and his cut-back is met by Bernardo Silva, whose sidefoot effort is well saved by the Burnley goalkeeper's feet.
17 min: Middlesbrough 0-0 Newport
Now an excellent chance for the hosts, with Britt Assombalonga curling just wide with his left foot from outside the box.
18 min: Manchester City 0-0 Burnley
It's another save from Nick Pope! Danilo this time hits a piledriver from the edge of the area which the keeper has to claw out with one hand.

This is all the Brazilian's work, working past a challenge on the left of the area before firing through the legs of Nick Pope.

Brighton winger Anthony Knockaert goes on a run into the box and goes down under pressure from two West Brom defenders.
