From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Welcome to the Independent’s live coverage of the Premier League with another fascinating clutch of matches at both ends of the table with the title race and relegation fight still wide open.

In the early kick-off Arsenal travel to Everton hoping to repair their fractured season. Meanwhile Chelsea, whose season is already in ruin, entertain top-four chasing West Ham United across the capital for a match which could underpin their unlikely hopes of securing Champions League qualification.

Table-toppers Leicester City, on the other hand, make the treacherous trip to face lowly Crystal Palace in the knowledge that Alan Pardew’s Eagles have previous when it comes to scuppering title bids, as Liverpool and Manchester City have discovered in recent years.

Watford face Stoke, Norwich meet West Bromwich Albion and Swansea welcome Aston Villa in a trio of massive games elsewhere on this most intriguing of weekends in the top-flight.

HALF TIME: The whistle has blown in all of our four 3:00pm Premier League fixtures, and...

The fairytale goes on for Leicester! Claudio Ranieri's side haven't been at their best so far against Palace, but Riyad Mahrez's well-taken goal could prove crucial in the title race.

Chelsea struck back on the stroke of half-time, Cesc Fabregas's fine free-kick cancelling out Manuel Lanzini's wondergoal, while Jonathan Walters has given Stoke City a 1-0 lead at Watford.

Norwich's trip to West Brom hasn't resulted in a classic but, honestly, what did you expect?

Crystal Palace 0 Leicester 1: The hosts looked dangerous throughout the first half and are out the blocks quickly, Bolasie scuffing an early effort on goal...

Crystal Palace 0 Leicester 1: And now it's the Foxes' turn to threaten again, as Okazaki turns beautifully from Albrighton's ball to fire just over! Cracking stuff at Selhurst Park!

Crystal Palace 0 Leicester 1: Mahrez then cuts in from the right to hit a shot just wide of the post...

GOAL! West Brom 0 Norwich 1 (Brady)A huge goal for the Canaries, who will drag themselves out of the relegation zone with a result at the Hawthorns! It's uncharacteristically sloppy defending from West Brom, who fail to clear in the penalty area giving Ryan Jarvis the chance to set up Robbie Brady to slot home!

GOAL! Watford 0 Stoke City 2 (Joselu)

The visitors double their lead with a fine strike! Walters hooks the ball forward to Joselu after a clearance and, with Gomes stranded out of position, the striker lofts the ball over the keeper with aplomb!

Crystal Palace 0 Leicester 1: Long throw from Christian Fuchs on the left is headed just wide by Okazaki at the near post! He should really have hit the target there...

That could prove such an enormous goal in Norwich City's season...  55fc6c31-78dc-4179-994b-67a9597573c9.jpg

Chelsea 1 West Ham 1: The visitors hit the bar! Cresswell gets down the left and, as he approaches the byline, lashes the ball across goal with a cross-cum-shot which cannons off the woodwork at the near post!
