From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Chelsea had to come from behind to beat rivals Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge, but took all three points thanks to goals from Pedro and Victor Moses.

Liverpool got back to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Sunderland, while Manchester City are level on points with the Merseysiders after beating Burnley.

Chelsea 0 Tottenham 1: Spurs running rampant at the moment, picking Chelsea apart on the counter attack although making a hash of the final ball. Eden Hazard has barely had a touch.

Chelsea 0 Tottenham 1: It's all gone a bit quiet. Chelsea starting to have more of the ball, but they haven't been able to control the game at all. Dembele picks up a yellow card for bringing down Moses.

Chelsea 0 Tottenham 1: Half an hour gone and it's hard to remember a single Chelsea chance. Tottenham though are pushing for another goal and they have a corner. This is not the way most people predicted this game going. Dier heads straight at Courtois from the corner.

Chelsea 0 Tottenham 1: Shot from Kane from outside the area and Courtois has to tip it over the bar. Too easy for Spurs at the moment.

Victor Moses, Nemanja Matic, N'Golo Kanté and Marcos Alonso have failed to win a single tackle vs. Spurs so far.S… https://t.co/TIpFwekkqS
