From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

After over an hour of trying, Liverpool finally hit back against Chelsea to maintain their unbeaten start to the Premier League. Eden Hazard struck in the first half to ensure Maurizio Sarri's side came out on top after an intense opening period, but Daniel Strurridge's wonderful late goal means the points are shared.

The home side had defended well and David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger were on hand to clear off the line to prevent Liverpool scoring an earlier equaliser. Xheradan Shaqiri also went close with an effort going wide from close range and Alisson was called on several times to keep Chelsea's early lead to just one goal.

What time does it start?

Chelsea vs Liverpool kicks off at 5:30pm (BST) on Saturday 29 September.

Where can I watch it?

The match will be shown live on BT Sport 1 from 5:00pm (BST).

BT Sport subscribers can also watch online via the BT Sport app.

Highlights will be shown at 10:30pm on BBC One.

It’s a big game for…

Mohamed Salah. The Liverpool winger has not quite found the miraculous form of last season as of yet, and will go to Stamford Bridge with a chip on his shoulder against his former club. Salah, who was unable to make an impact in the midweek defeat as a late substitute, was barely given a chance during his time at Chelsea from 2014 to 2016, and will want to silence the home fans with an eye-catching performance.

Best stat…

Three: Chelsea have only won three of their last 11 home games against Liverpool in the Premier League. Liverpool have won five.

Player to watch…

Eden Hazard: The Belgium captain is thriving under Sarri at the moment, and is the joint top scorer in the Premier League currently with five goals from six matches. The 27-year-old will be itching to attack Liverpool’s defence, after his wonderful solo goal in the last few minutes won the Carabao Cup tie on Wednesday. He’ll need to beat a different goalkeeper this time though, with Allison likely to come back into the starting XI after Simon Mignolet started in midweek.

Past three meetings…

Liverpool 1 (Sturridge) Chelsea 2 (Emerson, Hazard), Carabao Cup, September 2018

Chelsea 1 (Giroud) Liverpool 0, Premier League, May 2018

Liverpool 1 (Salah) Chelsea 1 (Willian), Premier League, November 2017

Odds…

Chelsea to win: 9/5

Liverpool to win: 6/4

Draw: 5/2

66: This game is wide open now. United give the ball away and the counter attack is on. Noble leads the charge and finds Arnautovic as West Ham make it three on two. The move slows down and a stray pass means that the visitors can get the ball back and regroup.

Mourinho's changes are not satisfying everyone

68: It's there for West Ham if they want it, a third goal is really on the horizon. They are getting so much time and space when they break forward but they are just getting undone when they arrive at the penalty area. Anderon tries to find Arnautovic in their latest move but there's too much on his pass in front of goal and United regroup.

Pogba is hooked

Well then, Fred comes on for Paul Pogba and he heads straight to the bench without shaking Mourinho's hand.

Manchester United hit back!

Marcus Rashford strikes for Manchester United!

He is on hand at the front post to turn in Shaw's corner with a back-heel flick in the air. Very impressive on his return from suspension.

It's over!

West Ham score a third!

Marko Arnautovic seals the three points!

Oh what a game this is! What. A. Game.

Mark Noble finds Arnautovic with a brilliant through pass and the Austrian makes no mistake with the finish beyond De Gea. The United defenders, actually Smalling, are shambolic and don't pick his up as he drifts through the middle.

Four goals in six games for Arnautovic now.

75: Snodgrass is on for Yarmolenko and is doing a wonderful job to keep things ticking over as West Ham hold onto the ball and wind down the clock, with 15 minutes to go!

Young's seen enough and tackles late on Anderson which sees him pick up a yellow card.

81: Are Manchester United showing any sign of a comeback? Absolutely not. After their brief excitement when Rashford came on, they've showed nothing. It's gone back to the cross and hope tactics and nothing is working. It's utterly bizarre to see a team with so many talented players utterly devoid of attacking ideas.
