Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Life at Stamford Bridge has started very promisingly for Maurizio Sarri, who has guided Chelsea to three wins in their opening Premier League matches.

Chelsea, however, will not be taking Bournemouth lightly, having lost to them twice at home in their last three league meetings in west London.

Eddie Howe could hand Jefferson Lerma his Premier League debut and will welcome back Adam Smith, who returns from suspension, as they look to maintain their unbeaten start.

We'll have all the latest from Stamford Bridge and around the Premier League:

KICK OFF: Leicester get the second half underway and will need a minor miracle to peg this Liverpool side back.

The Foxes have been off the pace and second to most, Liverpool finding a two goal cushion without being forced into top gear.

47 mins: Like his Algerian friend, Mahrez, Ghezzal has shown us a quick glimpse of what he can do.

Cutting in from the right he sent in a teasing ball which ended up whistling just past the post and for a goal kick.

49 mins: The break appears to be on for Leicester but the chance dies down before Maddison cuts inside onto his right and forces Alisson to be focussed but he catches the shot with not much damage.

50 mins: Corner to Leicester. Definite improvement so far this half.

52 mins: CHANCE for LEICESTER!

Maddison bundles his way through under a challenge from Virgil Van Dijk but he stays on his feet and then takes the ball away from Robertson too.

The gap opens up but his shot is well blocked by Joe Gomez.

N'didi then tests Alisson with another long ranger but Leicester have certainly upped the ante.

54 mins: Van Dijk fouls Maddison and goes into the book for his troubles.

Freekick Leicester in a dangerous position.

56 mins: CHANCE! The ball falls to Wes Morgan just infront of the keeper from the right hand side but he can't sort his feet out and Liverpool clear up the danger.

58 mins: CHANCE LIVERPOOL!

The second half finally opens up a chance for the reds and Salah is bearing down on goal and feeds a clever ball back into the box which is just cleared in time.

60 mins: Kelechi Iheanacho is stripped and ready to come on for Leicester who continue to put Liverpool under considerable pressure.
