Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Life at Stamford Bridge has started very promisingly for Maurizio Sarri, who has guided Chelsea to three wins in their opening Premier League matches.

Chelsea, however, will not be taking Bournemouth lightly, having lost to them twice at home in their last three league meetings in west London.

Eddie Howe could hand Jefferson Lerma his Premier League debut and will welcome back Adam Smith, who returns from suspension, as they look to maintain their unbeaten start.

We'll have all the latest from Stamford Bridge and around the Premier League:

KICK OFF: And we're off!

Liverpool get us underway and Leicester quickly reclaim possession.

CHANCE! Firmino and Salah miss gilt-edged chances to give Liverpool the lead.

The Brazilian sees himself on goal and he forces Kasper Schmeichel to make a low save but the ball rebounds at the feet of Mohamed Salah who somehow sees his shot go wide.

Great chance.

Salah and Firmino linking up wonderfully so far and we've only had 5 minutes.

Leicester do look a threat on the counter-attack, though.

8 mins: Gareth Southgate is in attendance today, casting an eye over plenty of English talent on show this afternoon.

I'm sure he'll be somewhere this afternoon, too.

9 mins: GOAL! (Mane, 9)

He might not be English but I'm sure Southgate will be wishing that he is - Robertson that is.

It is his magic down the left, once again, that sets up the goal. He blasted his way through the Leicester defence and pulled the ball across the box where Mane hovered unmarked and he casually prodded it beyond the Dane.

Liverpool look good.

14 mins: Liverpool pressing very well so far and seem very comfortable against Leicester's attacking threat.

Vardy, at the moment, appears quite a big miss.

18 mins: It's keep ball for Liverpool here spraying it left and right with ease.

The crowd has quietened and it's cruise control stuff for Klopp's boys.

21 mins: Firmino is linking up with his fellow Liverpool attackers wonderfully. He still probably doesn't score enough but he leads the line so well for them.

23 mins: CHANCE! Finally Leicester pose a small threat for Liverpool, pressurising the defenders into an error and the ball is slipped through to Gray who takes his shit early.

He stings the palms of Alisson but the Brazilian stopped is match for it with a good save.

24 mins: Corner for Leicester. Bit of pressure being applied finally.
