From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Burnley have had an impressive season so far and are nine points off the relegation zone. A win on Sunday could even see them rise as high as ninth, pending results elsewhere. Sean Dyche’s men have made Turf Moor a fortress this season and have the third best home record in the league, so he will be eager to continue that with another positive result against Chelsea.

Antonio Conte's side, meanwhile, are surging to the title with a nine-point gap between themselves and second place Tottenham. Three points on the weekend could see them extend that lead on the chasing pack and push them further toward their sixth league title.

What time is kick-off?

The match kicks off at 1.30pm on Sunday 12 February.

Where can I watch it?

The game will be televised live on Sky Sports 1.

Highlights will be shown on Match of the Day at 22:30pm on BBC One.

Live coverage...

It’s a big game for…

Antonio Conte: Not many teams have won at Turf Moor this season and with Tottenham playing a below par Liverpool side on Saturday there can be no excuses for dropped points.

Best stat…

Burnley thumped Chelsea 6-2 in their Division One clash in 1965.

Remember when…

German winger Andre Schurrle scored a terrific goal in Chelsea’s 3-1 opening day win at Burnley during the 2014/15 season.

Prediction...

Player to watch…

Eden Hazard: The Belgian scored with a fantastic solo effort against Arsenal last weekend, making him undoubtedly the man to keep your eyes on in this fixture. Hazard has played an integral part in Conte’s side this season and despite the record books suggesting this will be one of their toughest tests so far, he should shine.

Burnley enter this clash with third best home record in the Premier League, so today could be the day that the title favourites get stopped in their tracks. The Clarets have won every game on home turf since the end of November, so could today be the eighth consecutive victory for Dyche's men?

We'll see.

Stay tuned for minute-by-minute coverage of all of the action.

The scene is set. If the title toppers can beat formidable Burnley on home turf, this would be a huge statement to the rest of the league challengers. Burnley sit at 13th in the League table, but if they are underestimated today then Conte's men will pay the ultimate price.

The players are lining up in the Turf Moor tunnel. Chelsea look to go 12 points clear at the top, whereas Burnley look to make it their sixth consecutive league victory.

Just minutes until kick-off now.

3 MINS

It's energetic from the off from both sides here at Turf Moor. Burnley are battling to exert an early dominance over their opponents on home turf.

Brady looks like he could cause an upset out there today. The Irishman looks quick, energetic and determined.

Costa threads a beautifully weighted pass through to Hazard, who bursts through The Clarets defence. He finds himself in front of goal, but the Belgian's attempt is easily collected by Heaton - he should have done more damage there.

GOAL

BURNLEY 0 - 1 CHELSEA

Pedro scores the opener with a right-footed strike to leave Heaton helpless. Hazard spreads the ball wide to Moses, who charges towards the Burnley defence, before sending the ball into the path of the goalscorer.

Can Burnley respond? We'll see.

Chelsea's early opener would have unsettled Dyche's men, so it will be a huge test of their character to see if they can respond.

Boyd delivers a delightful ball into the box, but it leads to no more than a goalmouth scramble.
