Liverpool travel to Bournemouth on Sunday looking to get back among the Champions League places after some disappointing draws in recent weeks have left Jurgen Klopp’s side in sixth place in the Premier League.

Bournemouth on the other hand are in dire need of points as they linger just a single point above the relegation zone with 16 points from 17 games.

Follow all the live action below…

What time does it start?

Bournemouth vs Liverpool kicks off at 4.30pm on Sunday 17 December.

Where can I watch it?

The game will be shown live on Sky Sports Premier League with coverage starting following the conclusion of West Bromwich Albion vs Liverpool.

It’s a big game for…

Jurgen Klopp. Liverpool have turned slightly stale since the Fab Four tore apart Spartak Moscow in the Champions League, drawing two winnable games. As it stands Liverpool sit outside the top five but a win against Bournemouth can not only propel them back up to fourth, but also put some daylight between themselves and Tottenham in seventh.

Player to watch…

Mohamed Salah. Because you simply cannot take your eyes off the man right now.

Form guide…

Odds…

Bournemouth: 11/2

Liverpool: 4/7

Draw: 15/4

1' - We are underway at Anfield!

Here is how the two teams line up at the Vitality Stadium:

10' - Nathan Ake collects an early booking for a foul on Roberto Firmino just outside the box. Liverpool have a free-kick in a dangerous position here.

11' - Off the woodwork! Philippe Coutinho curls the free-kick over the wall and off the inside of Asmir Begovic's post. What a lovely goal that would have been.

Liam Corless17 December 2017 16:42

13' - Mo Salah collects the ball on the byline before cutting inside past Charlie Daniels and getting a shot away. The ball sails a good few feet over the upright though - much to Asmir Begovic's relief.

17' - Bournemouth clearly reckon their pacy forward players are capable of causing Liverpool some problems at the back. They've tried three or four through balls to Josh King and Jordon Ibe early doors but haven't had too much joy breaking Liverpool's defensive line yet.

Liam Corless17 December 2017 16:49

GOAL! Bournemouth 0-1 Liverpool (Coutinho)

20' - That's a beautiful individual goal.

Philippe Coutinho collects the ball on the left wing before jinking past Simon Francis and Lewis Cook, and sliding the ball in at Asmir Begovic's near post.

Liam Corless17 December 2017 16:52

GOAL! Bournemouth 0-2 Liverpool (Lovren)

25' - That was as scrappy as Coutinho's goal was beautiful.

Roberto Firmino does really well to prevent the ball going behind for a goal-kick as he hooks it back across the face of goal for Dejan Lovren to head Liverpool into a 2-0 lead from close range.

Liam Corless17 December 2017 16:57

30' - Josh King goes off with an injury for Bournemouth and Junior Stanislas comes on in his place.
