From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. Arsenal’s pre-season continues with an International Champions Cup clash against French champions Paris Saint-Germain today.

Unai Emery’s team will be hoping to bounce back after a 3-1 penalty shootout defeat by Atletico Madrid earlier this week, after a 1-1 draw in normal time.

PSG will likely pose a similarly tough test, with former Arsenal managerial target Unai Emery in the dugout.

When is the match?

The match kicks-off at 12.35pm BST on Saturday 28 July.

Where is it taking place?

The Singapore National Stadium – located in, you guessed it, Singapore – will host the exhibition.

Where can I watch it?

Premier Sports will show the match live.

Here we go, Arsenal win the card-toss (yep, they used a sponsor's debit card instead of a coin) and will kick -off attacking left to right.

1 mins: Arsenal kick-off and the match is underway!

3 mins: A bright start from PSG, with Rabiot striding forwards and stretching the Arsenal defence, only for his cut-back to be intercepted.

PSG win the ball back and spread it around the back for a while, with Buffon getting his first touch of the ball.

5 mins: Close! Again it's Rabiot who bursts forward, bringing the ball down the left and flicking it to Weah on his right. But the youngster's touch is a little heavy, with Leno quick to dart off his line and collect the ball.

7 mins: Arsenal have barely had a kick. PSG are playing three at the back and moving the ball around very nicely.

9 mins: Another chance for PSG!

Once again it's Rabiot who brings the ball forward, only this time he looks to his right rather than his left. He lays off Toufiqui who chances his arm from 30-yards and it's a decent enough attempt, but the ball flies wide of Leno's right post.

11 mins: Arsenal press forward for the first time. Ozil whips in a short corner but Mustafi's glancing header skids wide.

GOAL! Arsenal 1-0 PSG

Captain Ozil scores for Arsenal against the run of play!

13 mins: Aubameyang races onto a superb Mkhitaryan pass downfield and gets ahead of PSG's three-man defence. He collects the ball on the right of their penalty box but, rather than shooting from a tight angle, rolls the ball across the face of goal, where Ozil has caught up to him and is waiting for the tap-in.

He makes no mistake from the edge of the six-yard box and Arsenal lead.

The Arsenal lads loved that one.
