From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Arsenal are looking to end an unwanted run of five games against Liverpool without a win, as well as make up for the 4-0 humbling they suffered at Anfield earlier this season, when the two sides meet at the Emirates Stadium on Friday night. Just a point separates the two sides in the Premier League table and both have sights firmly set on qualifying for next term’s Champions League.

However, pre-season hopes of a Premier League title challenge are well and truly over, and neither can afford to slip up tonight as both Burnley and Tottenham are sniffing down their necks with the four teams split by just three points.

93 mins: Can breaks down the left and his attempted cross is forced out for a corner. Chance for Liverpool here...

94 mins: It comes to nothing and Arsenal can counter. Wilshere chips the ball forwards towards Welbeck, Gomez heads clear and Ozil goes for it...high, wide and not at all handsome.

FULL-TIME: ARSENAL 3-3 LIVERPOOL

What. A. Game.

Full-time: You have to fault Liverpool for wasting those first-half chances as it has come back to haunt them. At 2-0 up, Liverpool looked home and dry, but the most unbelievable of Arsenal comebacks - three goals in five minutes - turned the match on its head. Liverpool showed great resilience themselves to get back on level terms, but in the end a point apiece feels like a fair result.

And as if to demonstrate that, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is applauded off the pitch by the Arsenal fans with not a boo in the house.
