Needing to defeat Bournemouth to claim their place in the top-flight next season things looked bad for the Toffees as the visitors took the early initiative at Goodison Park.
At the King Power Stadium, Harvey Barnes gave Leicester the lead over West Ham with Leeds falling behind to Tottenham up at Elland Road. That was how things stood at half-time with the Foxes out of the relegation zone and Everton in trouble.
The second half began and Leeds fell further behind Spurs effectively putting them out of the battle. Leicester extended their lead over the Hammers to gain control of their and Everton continued to struggle.
Then, Abdoulaye Doucoure received the ball on the edge of the box and smoked home a wonderful strike to put Everton in front. Sean Dyche’s men lasted through 10 minutes of stoppage to collect their three points and clinch their place in the top-flight.

He nods it towards goal where Dominic Solanke looks to turn it home but Jordan Pickford palms it away before Conor Coady scoops it off the line.
Words are said between Pickford and Solanke and both men earn yellow cards.

Whatever small hope that was conjured up by Harrison’s goal has disappeared in an instant. Leeds leave themselves wide open at the back and Spurs take full advantage with Kane netting his second of the game calmly passed Robles.
Silence around Elland Road.
GOAL! Leeds 1-2 Tottenham (Harrison, 67)
67 mins: Well, maybe they do have some ideas! Harrison finds some space on the right and flashes a low effort across goal and into the far corner. They need so much to happen in other games to stay up but it’s a start.
Moments prior Kulusevski comes off for Sarr.
Leeds 0-2 Tottenham
66 mins: Leeds are desperate for something to happen but there’s a complete lack of ideas out there on the pitch. Harrison jinks through a crowd of players but his clipped cross is not attacked by anyone in a white shirt and it drifts out for a goal kick.
GOAL! Crystal Palace 1-1 Nottingham Forest (Hughes, 66’)
Will Hughes meets the cross from Michael Olise and despite an attempt to block from Willy Boly, the ball finishes in the back of the net and Crystal Palace have their equaliser!
GOAL! Southampton 4-2 Liverpool (Armstrong, 64’)
Adam Armstrong sweeps in from the left to drill home a low effort for the Saints who are leaving the Premier League in style this afternoon.
Leicester 2-0 West Ham
63 mins: Despite that second goal at the King Power there’s some glum faces in the crowd. Leicester are relying on Bournemouth to at least score against Everton.

Leicester have a secure grip on their match against West Ham now! They win a free kick over on the left wing that Youri Tielemans curls into the middle of the box.
Wout Faes leaps highest and glances his headed effort into the bottom corner! Leicester need to see out this match and hope Bournemouth can score against Everton.
