There we go, it's all over on the banks of the Trent as Nottingham Forest experience double delight over a bereft West Ham with a 2-0 victory that could be crucial in their hopes of survival. It was a forgettable day for David Moyes' side as Mats Sels was hardly tested in the hosts' goal. Alphonse Areola however, was the polar opposite, and was kept busy for much of the game. He would've been approaching the break with optimism, as well as being a shoe-in for West Ham's player of the match, however Taiwo Awoniyi had other ideas. He grabbed his sixth goal of the season on the cusp of half time before the second, frenetic half took a while for Forest to grab a late insurance goal. This came after a penalty shout, and Danilo's effort were denied by the referee's whistle. Callum Hudson-Odoi was composed to slot home emphatically to send Forest fans home happy. West Ham continue their slump as they prepare for Brentford next. Nottingham Forest however, surge on to face Aston Villa next time out. Thanks for following along, goodbye!
