Follow live coverage as Nottingham Forest face Manchester City in the Premier League today.

Manchester City made one change for their visit to Nottingham Forest. Phil Foden came in for Riyad Mahrez in the only alteration from the side that started Wednesday’s 3-1 win at Arsenal.

Forest lost their appeal to the Premier League to add Steve Cook to their 25-man squad following a spate of defensive injuries, which leaves Joe Worrall and Felipe as their only fit central defenders. Felipe and Jonjo Shelvey made their full and home debuts.

We will bring you all the action and updates from today's game in the live blog below:

Forest move past Leicester into 13th place with that draw while Man City drop to second and two points behind league leaders Arsenal. Cooper's side travel to West Ham for their next league game while City play RB Leipzig in the Champions League before a trip to Bournemouth next weekend.

The first half was quiet for the most part as Man City dictated the game, while Forest were forced to sit deep in their own half due to the visitors' dominance. Rodri and Grealish had good chances to open the scoring but could not prevail against the Forest defenders. Silva then produced a moment of brilliance in the 41st minute as his thunderous strike from 20 yards out left Navas helpless as the Blues went into the break 1-0 up. The same story continued for most of the second period as Guardiola's side pushed for a second goal, but they could not find the final touch needed to secure the win. Substitute Wood then punished the current champions for their wastefulness as he tapped the ball home at the back post in the 84th minute to to get Forest a point with their only shot on target.
