Follow live coverage as Nottingham Forest face Leeds United in the Premier League today.
The Reds were once again active in the transfer market during January, signing centre-back Felipe and goalkeeper Keylor Navas to bolster Steve Cooper’s squad and provide defensive resilience to a side still fighting to avoid relegation. Recent results have improved, and Forest sit 14th in the table, but there remains only three points between themselves and the bottom three.
Leeds, meanwhile, have even less breathing space - after both Wolves and Everton won on Saturday, Jesse Marsch’s side are only out of the relegation zone on goal difference and are six without a win in the league.

Thanks for joining us for live coverage of Nottingham Forest's 1-0 Premier League victory over Leeds United at the City Ground.
Nottingham Forest vs Leeds United
The win for Forest moves them up a place to 13th, but crucially extends their gap to the bottom three to six points. They are hitting form at a great time and are now unbeaten in their last five Premier League matches, a run they will look to continue when they travel to face Fulham next weekend. Leeds' dismal period continues as they remain out of the bottom three on just goal difference. With Marsch under pressure, there will be serious questions over whether he will be in charge for Wednesday's visit to rivals Manchester United, who have won their last 13 home matches in all competitions.

The referee blows the whistle, and it is Forest who claim what could be a vital three points in this meeting between two relegation-threatened sides. Johnson's brilliant 14th-minute volleyed winner proved the difference between the sides, though they also have new signing Navas to thank for a couple of important stops in the first half. Leeds were unlucky to go into the break a goal behind, but they could not replicate the same attacking threat in the second half and the hosts run out 1-0 winners.
