Nottingham Forest vs Everton LIVE: Premier League result, final score and reaction after Brennan Johnson equaliser
Nottingham Forest 2-2 Everton: Steve Cooper’s Forest fight back twice to earn draw against Sean Dyche’s Everton
Nottingham Forest and Everton shared the points in an entertaining encounter at The City Ground that leaves Sean Dyche’s Toffees inside the Premier League relegation zone.
An early penalty - given away by Jonjo Shelvey - was firmly despatched by Demarai Gray to put the visitors ahead before Brennan Johnson slotted home a rebounded ball after Jordan Pickford had kept out Morgan Gibbs-White.
Everton regained the lead just before the half hour mark through an Abdoulaye Doucoure header and took a slim advantage into the break.
Forest pushed on in the second home and their bravery and control was rewarded as Brennan Johnson danced inside from the right before lifting a left-footed effort past the Everton goalkeeper to earn his team a share of the points.
