Nottingham Forest vs Crystal Palace LIVE: Premier League result, final score and reaction

Follow live coverage as Nottingham Forest face Crystal Palace in the Premier League today.
Manchester City are reigning champions after beating Liverpool to the finish line in a neck-and-neck 2021/22 title race where a comeback win on the final day of the season against Aston Villa secured a fourth title in five years for Pep Guardiola's side.
Jurgen Klopp's Reds were on course for a quadruple last season but were forced to settle for just an FA Cup and Carabao Cup win and will return trying to win the title again just as they did in 2020.
It was a dramatic season for Chelsea a year ago with Roman Abramovich now replaced by Todd Boehly as owner in west London. He will want an instant return on his hefty investment at Stamford Bridge while Tottenham, back in the Champions League, will want to kick on once more too.
It's not all about the action at the top though with Fulham, Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest promoted to the top tier for 2021/22 and hoping to hold their own against the best English football has to offer and avoid the drop.
We will bring you all the action and updates from today's game in the live blog below:

As for Palace, they are out of the EFL Cup after being beaten on penalties by Newcastle United at St. James' Park. However, they are in good form in the Premier League. Leaving it late against West Ham, a 96th-minute winner from Michael Olise gave Patrick Vieira’s team their first away victory of the season last time out, with Palace winning three of their last four games in the league. Collecting 19 points from their first 13 games, Palace could go as high as sixth place with a win.
Nottingham Forest vs Crystal Palace
Forest will be in good spirits after goals from Renan Lodi and Jesse Lingard helped them beat Tottenham and move into the fourth round of the EFL Cup last time out. Drawing with Brentford in their previous Premier League match, Steve Cooper’s side are unbeaten in their last four home matches in all competitions, with their final game before the World Cup being their third at the City Ground in eight days. Bottom of the Premier League, winning two of their first 14 games, Forest will move out of the relegation zone if they secure three points and other results go their way. They have never lost a Premier League game against Palace (W2 D2), though this is the first such meeting since a 2-1 away win in April 1995.
