Nottingham Forest vs AFC Bournemouth

Solanke scored a second-half hat-trick to help Bournemouth come from behind to beat Forest 3-2 in a controversial match at the City Ground. The first half was goalless, with Neto and Turner forced into simple saves, but there was plenty of controversy. Boly was sent off after receiving a second yellow card for a slide tackle on Smith where it looked like he won possession. The hosts then shouted for a penalty after a cross hit Smith's arm, but nothing was given after a VAR check. Forest were better after the restart and broke the deadlock inside two minutes when Elanga curled his shot into the bottom corner. However, Solanke levelled with a looping header before turning the score around with a poked effort from close range. Wood powered in a header to equalise, but Solanke scored again in stoppage time to win it for Bournemouth. He got on the end of Smith's deep cross and directed his header into the top corner. Bournemouth will aim to make it six wins in seven games when they host Fulham in their next outing. As for Forest, they are just two points above the relegation zone and travel to Newcastle United. That's all for today, goodbye.

It looks like Forest are trying to protect what they have, with Bournemouth being allowed to stroll into their half with possession. However, the Cherries waste an attack with a poor cross, allowing Turner to claim it in the air and dive onto the floor.

There will be five minutes of additional time. Forest are the only side yet to score in the 90th minute (including stoppage time) so far this term.

Elanga does well to protect the ball on the byline, with Senesi poking it behind for a Forest corner. Gibbs-White's outswinging cross looks for Yates, but Bournemouth clear it up the pitch. It's impossible to predict a winner heading towards stoppage time.
