Liverpool were winners back in 2020 ending a 30-year wait for league glory and Jurgen Klopp is sure to have them back challenging again at the sharp end this season too while Manchester United will be looking to be back in the title picture with Cristiano Ronaldo returning to his former club in the summer.

Norwich's win doesn't improve their league position. They're still bottom and seven points from safety, but it's clear they plan on going down with dignity. It's the first time they've won a Premier League game by more than one goal since August 2019. Burnley will be more affected by this defeat. They stay 18th, and the gap between them and Everton stays at four points.

Norwich have won at Carrow Road to stymie Burnley's plans of staying up! The Canaries may not score many goals but they are a tougher prospect under Dean Smith, as the Clarets have found out. Lees-Melou's early goal gave the hosts a lead to protect, a job they did extremely well. Burnley had their moments, especially in the first half, but faded in the second to let Pukki wrap things up. Cornet will regret his close-range miss when the score was only 1-0.

Krul keeps Norwich's clean sheet intact with a fantastic diving save! Cornet spots Brownhill's runup on the edge of the box and lays the ball off to him. The midfielder lets rip with a right-footer that Krul stops from finding the bottom right corner. Burnley get a corner which doesn't lead to much. That's it!

Williams' right-footed shot from outside the box drifts off-target. He might as well have a crack.

There'll be five minutes of time added onto the end of this match. There's no whiff of Burnley scoring even a consolation goal now.

Pukki's goal was his ninth in the Premier League this season, more than any other Norwich player. He's become the third Norwich player to reach 20 Premier League goals after Chris Sutton and Grant Holt. He's been the Canaries' brightest spark in an otherwise poor season.

Dyche directs his players to push forward, but it's surely too late at this stage. Burnley have been outthought and outfought by Norwich here.
