European champions Chelsea have proven they have what it takes to dethrone City, however, having done it in last season's Champions League final and will be hoping to add a domestic title to the one won in Porto.
Liverpool were winners back in 2020 ending a 30-year wait for league glory and Jurgen Klopp is sure to have them back challenging again at the sharp end this season too while Manchester United will be looking to be back in the title picture with Cristiano Ronaldo returning to his former club in the summer.
It's not all about the action at the top though with Norwich, Watford and Brentford promoted to the top tier for 2020/21 and hoping to hold their own against the best English football has to offer and avoid the drop.

United work it well down the left, but they struggle to pick out a ball into the box until Shaw whips it in. Pogba rises above Fofana and glances a header towards goal, but it's straight at Schmeichel.

Varane steps in to stop Tielemans' run before spotting Sancho peeling off the back of Justin. He tries to go long to pick him out, but Evans gets there first and nods it back to Schmeichel.

Fernandes steps up to take the free-kick down the left and he whips a deep cross into the box. Maguire peels away at the far post, but it's just out of his reach.

Shaw's corner is cleared by Fofana, but only as far as Fernandes, who knocks it onto Elanga down the right. He curls a great cross onto the edge of the six-yard box, but Castagne just beats McTominay to it.

Dewsbury-Hall has acres of space through the middle, but he lays it off to Barnes, who's causing United all sorts of problems here early on. He takes another shot on from range, sending it wide.

CHANCE! It's well worked by Leicester with Barnes starting the move on the halfway line. It goes through Dewsbury-Hall and Iheanacho before Barnes gets it back, but he drills his low shot wide of the near post.
