Manchester United take on local rivals and relegation-threatened Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday.

In their last outing, Erik Ten Hag’s side claimed all three points, but it was a tumultous game against rock-bottom Sheffield United and the Red Devils needed to come from behind twice to claim the 4-2 win.

After that match Manchester United had scored at least two and conceded at least two in their last five matches in all competitions.

Manchester United went into the match battling against Tottenham and Newcastle for the final European places, with too sizeable a gap between themselves and Aston Villa to have a reasonable chance of finishing in the Champions League places.

Manchester United vs Burnley

Fittingly, the points are shared at Old Trafford where Manchester United and Burnley played out a wide-open 1-1 draw, having somehow gone goalless for nearly 80 minutes. Both sides failed to make the most of their chances throughout a game in which the away side had more of the ball, while Onana made some superb saves to keep the scoreline blank before Antony fired home United's opener with a decisive solo strike. The Clarets soon struck back, though, as Onana erred and conceded a penalty, which Amdouni coolly converted. There were no fewer than 43 shots at goal, with the hosts xG finishing at 1.92 to Burnley's 1.87, and that reflects the nature of an encounter in which defending took a back seat. While Manchester United will take on Crystal Palace next time out, their visitors must host Newcastle United, having at least temporarily moved within two points of 17th-placed Nottingham Forest, who will play title favourites Manchester City on Sunday. That's all from today's live coverage, so thank you for joining us and goodbye!

SAVE! Onana partly redeems himself by making a crucial stop at his near post! Odobert outsmarts Wan-Bissaka on the left, then lashes in a low shot, but the goalkeeper stands strong and blocks it away with his feet! Surely that's the last chance gone?

The officials indicate there will be at least six minutes of stoppage time played at the end of this half, as Vitinho escapes a strong penalty claim. The ball struck his arm in the area, but it seems that was not enough to award Man Utd a penalty-kick.

GREAT BLOCK! O'Shea saves Burnley, as Casemiro squares the ball back for McTominay, who tries to squeeze it home from close range - but the Clarets defender steps in with a last-gasp block! Brilliant defending!

PENALTY AWARDED! Burnley have a late chance to level it! The VAR quickly concludes that Onana clattered over an opponent inside the area, so United's first-half hero is penalised - that's a penalty for the Clarets!
