Manchester United vs Arsenal LIVE: Premier League result and reaction as Leandro Trossard goal earns crucial victory for Gunners

78 mins: There are a lot of Arsenal supporters now standing with thoughtful looks on their faces. When the teams met earlier in the season it took a couple of late goals for the Gunners to secure the three points. Will it be the same here?

Gabriel Martinelli dances into the box from the left wing and strikes one only for Andre Onana to stick out his left hand and tip the ball over the crossbar.

75 mins: Casemiro’s cross field pass comes over to Antony who leaps into Takehiro Tomiyasu as the duo both challenge for the same ball.

Antony is judged to have fouled the defender and Arsenal win a free kick.

72 mins: Erik ten Hag will not be pleased as Amad Diallo goes to ground and signals to the bench that he needs to come off. It’s another injury in a growing list for United.

Antony is called on to replace him and takes a shot with his first real involvement in the game. David Raya keeps it out without too much fuss.

He attempts a difficult curling shot to the far top corner but miscues it and sends the effort well wide.

60 mins: A corner for Arsenal results in Saka pinging a cross onto the head of William Saliba. He leaps and nods the ball towards goal but his effort is always going too high and Andre Onana watches it head over the crossbar.

At the other end of the pitch, Alejandro Garnacho gets in behind Ben White and drives into the penalty area. Saliba holds his ground, waits for his moment and then tackles the teenager to recover possession.

57 mins: Oh! From nothing Arsenal burst into life around the penalty area. Declan Rice has a shot blocked by Aaron Wan-Bissaka before combining with Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard to keep the attack alive.

Trossard shoots from the left side of the box but United’s scrambling defence keeps the ball out and turns it away.

54 mins: Certainly since the goal was scored Arsenal haven’t really done a lot. They probably back themselves to keep Manchester United out but there is a growing confidence in the home team.

51 mins: Garnacho takes on White once again and manages to get a touch of space to cross the ball into the penalty area. Hojlund is tied up by Saliba but McTominay fails to react to the cross and it sails over every’s head before Arsenal regain possession.
