Manchester City vs Wolverhampton Wanderers LIVE: Premier League result, final score and reaction
Erling Haaland scores three to kill off Wolves
Norwegian goalscoring phenomenon Erling Haaland fired his fourth Premier League hat-trick of a remarkable season to earn Manchester City a comfortable 3-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday.
City dominated the first half and deservedly took the lead after Haaland headed home from a pinpoint cross from Kevin De Bruyne in the 40th minute.
It was a matter of time until City got that crucial second goal, with Haaland converting from the spot following a foul on Ilkay Gundogan five minutes after the break. The Norwegian then quickly completed his treble to put the game to bed.
City cruised to victory from there on in as they closed the gap to league leaders Arsenal to two points, but the Gunners have two games in hand, the first of which is against Manchester United later on Sunday. Wolves stay 17th on 17 points.

WHAT A CHANCE! Wolves just can't clear their lines and Semedo's block rolls straight into Silva's path. He clips it in from the byline on the right and Gundogan has a free header at the far post, but he sends it over from close range.

Another loose pass from Sa sees the pressure put back on Wolves as Ake intercepts it. He looks to Grealish down the left, but his low cross is cleared by Kilman.

Wolves are struggling to get a touch on the ball again at the moment as City patiently knock it around in front of the visitors.

SAVE! De Bruyne leads the charge of another City counter-attack, pushing his way through the middle before threading it into Alvarez. He does well to hold off Kilman long enough to get the shot away, and Sa blocks it with his trailing leg.
