Here is the best of Friday's transfer news, rumours, gossip and done deals as Arsenal and Manchester United prepare for busy days ahead.

The Gunners were rocked by club captain Laurent Koscielny going on strike yesterday, with the Frenchman refusing to join the pre-season tour to the US. Koscielny has been offered a three-year deal by Bordeaux, while Rennes are also interested, and he wants the club to allow him to leave on a free transfer in return for his nine years of service.

Manchester United meanwhile met with representatives of Inter Milan yesterday to discuss a potential loan deal with an obligation-to-buy for wantaway striker Romelu Lukaku. Talks are still at an early stage, however, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have received a boost in their pursuit of Sporting's Bruno Fernandes after the Portuguese club signed Aleksandar Trajkovski who is seen as a direct replacement. Over in Europe, Barcelona are expected to finally trigger Antoine Griezmann's release clause today in one of the biggest transfers in football history. Griezmann joins Barcelona on a five-year deal, and the 2018 World Cup winner's release clause is a staggering €800m.

The La Liga champions will likely present their newest addition this weekend.

Griezmann's former club Real Sociedad will receive €24m of the 28-year-old's transfer fee due to a clause drawn up when the Frenchman joined Atletico in 2014.

Bayern Munich are in the market for a winger, and if it doesn't end up being Leroy Sane, it could be 21-year-old Dani Olmo of Dinamo Zagreb.

The Spaniard's agent said of the Bundesliga champions' interest: "Bayern have the best scouts in the world and when a club like that shows interest, the situation is clear.

"They're a big club and there's not a player on the planet who wouldn't want to play for a side like that."

Newcastle United and newly promoted Sheffield United are among the Premier League teams to have expressed an interest in Coventry's Tom Bayliss, Sky have reported.

The promising 20-year-old's contract contains a £3m buy-out clause, which could easily be met by a number of the interested parties.

As a result, Coventry hold little hope of hanging on to the England U19 international.

Much of the focus on West Ham this summer has been on their travails in trying to sign a striker, but the Hammers are also looking to recruit in other positions.

Ajax defender Joel Veltman, 27, is on the east London club's list of targets and is keen on a move to the Premier League, according to The Daily Mail.

Bayern Munich signing Benjamin Pavard has admitted that he "should have transferred straight after the World Cup."

The Frenchman, who scored one of the goals of the tournament last summer as France worked their way to the Jules Rimet trophy, agreed a deal in January to leave VfB Stuttgart come the end of the season.

But while the defender said he is grateful to Stuttgart for making him the player he is today, he admitted that his ambition of a Bundesliga title should have led him to leave even sooner after becoming a world champion.

Cardiff are contemplating putting in a bid for 35-year-old striker Glenn Murray, hoping that the Brighton man can help them achieve instant promotion back to the Premier League, The Daily Mirror have reported.

Murray has 35 Premier League goals to his name.

So, Antoine Griezmann has joined Barcelona. At long last, the saga is over. Well... not quite.

Atletico Madrid have released a statement claiming that the €120m paid by Barcelona to trigger the Frenchman's release clause is not enough.

Atleti claim that the La Liga champions clearly reached an agreement with Griezmann back in March, when his release clause was €200m.

The Catalan club should therefore be paying that full amount, according to Atletico.

The deal between Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt and Juventus is done, according to De Telegraaf in the Netherlands.

The newspaper claims that de Ligt will not travel to Austria with Ajax for pre-season training, as Juve have finally offered the Dutch club the 19-year-old's price of €70m.

Everton defender Luke Garbutt has joined League One side Ipswich on a season-long loan.

The full-back, 26, made his debut at Goodison Park in 2012, but has not appeared for the Toffees since May 2015, having been on loan at Fulham, Wigan, Cheltenham, Oxford and Colchester.
