Meanwhile Everton have signed Man City’s Fabian Delph, who is keen to play more often after a peripheral role at the Etihad under Pep Guardiola.

“The club that I’ve been at has had success, especially in the last two seasons, but over the last four years we managed to win trophies,” he told Everton’s website.

“I wanted to be playing more regularly and the opportunity to come and play for Everton was too good of an opportunity to turn down.”

Rafa Benitez will make Solomon Rondon his first signing in the Chinese Super League according to The Telegraph.

Bentiez worked with the Venezuelan during his time at Newcastle, who he left in favour of Dalian Yifang earlier this month.

The striker would cost £16.5 million, signing a three-year contract worth $8 million in wages.

Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof has insisted that he is staying at Manchester United for next season amid interest from Barcelona.

The Swede commented on the rumours during United's tour of the Far East.

"I'm very, very happy to be a Manchester United player," said Lindelof during a news conference.

"I'm excited for new season to start. That's my answer. I'm very happy here."

Celtic manager, Neil Lennon, has spoken on Arsenal's summer pursuit of full-back Kieran Tierney.

"The club's valuation of Kieran has not been met and until then we don't have a discussion to make," Lennon said.

''I don't know what Arsenal's financial state is. I know what ours is and we are quite comfortable with the situation at the moment.''

"There has been a second bid, the bid has been rejected and it's as you were."

Corriere dello Sport are reporting that Roma are set to offer former Chelsea striker, Gonzalo Higuain, their captaincy in an attempt to lure him to the Italian capital from Juventus.

The Argentinian striker spent the first half of last season at AC Milan before moving to Chelsea in January where he worked under former coach, and now Juventus boss, Mauricio Sarri .

The departure of Higuain may prove to be the catalyst for Inter Milan's Mauro Icardi's expected move away from the San Siro.

Sheffield United have confirmed the signing of Ravel Morrison on a one-year deal with the option of an extension following a successful trial period.

"Ravel is an undoubted talent and we are delighted that we have put together a deal that suits all parties," said Blades boss Chris Wilder.

"I've spoken to a number of people about him and it is clear that he has serious ability.

"We are getting a fantastic footballer with a tremendous pedigree and this is a great opportunity for Rav, we believe we can help him get back to the level he wants to be.''
