Jose Mourinho will take charge of his first home Tottenham Hotspur match this evening, with his side guaranteed a place in the Champions League knockout stages if they see off Olympiacos.

Mourinho, who won the Champions League with both FC Porto and Inter Milan, replaced the sacked Maurico Pochettino last week. Tottenham won his first match in charge – a 3-2 win over London rivals West Ham.

Spurs are currently second in Group B and will wrap up a place in the knockout stages with a win tonight. Follow live coverage below.

Olympiacos: Sa, Elabdellaoui, Meriah, Semedo, Tsimikas, Bouchalakis, Guilherme, Masouras, Camara, Podence, El-Arabi

Team news

Spurs are still without Hugo Lloris and Jan Vertonghen, so Davinson Sanchez and Toby Alderweireld will continue their partnership at the back.

Erik Lamela could return and Tanguy Ndombele should be fit to take a place in the squad.

Mourinho must decide whether to bring the likes of Christian Eriksen, Danny Rose or Juan Foyth into the lineup as he continues to assess his new squad.

The Greek outfit are without key midfielder Konstantinos Fortounis.

What are the odds?

Tottenham win: 3/10

Draw: 51/10

Olympiacos to win: 11/1

Prediction:

Mourinho can keep the returned feel-good factor going here, getting a first home win and securing Tottenham’s place in the last 16 at the same time.

Olympiacos’ away form is patchy of late, with one win in six across all competitions, and they haven’t won an away in a group stage fixture since October 2015.

Tottenham 3-0 Olympiacos

Yes, and this.

GOAL! Tottenham 4-2 Olympiacos (Kane 77')

And there is that moment of history for Harry Kane, who becomes the quickest player in the history of the Champions League to 20 goals.

It is a simple goal, with Eriksen floating a ball into the box from the free-kick and the England captain has the simplest task of nodding past Sa.

That should be the game, and qualification through to the next round.

82 min: Final change for Spurs, as Tanguy Ndombele comes on for Dele Alli, who goes off to a rousing reception

85 min: So Spurs will have nothing riding on the game when they got to Bayern Munich on the final matchday.

What a performance this has been from the hosts after a poor first half.

Kishan Vaghela26 November 2019 21:42

87 min: Spurs easily seeing this one out and the verve that Olympiacos played with at the start of the half has well and truly disappeared.

Christian Eriksen has been excellent tonight since his introduction, and has justified the decision from Mourinho to hook Eric Dier so early on.

Kishan Vaghela26 November 2019 21:45

89 min: Semedo's first-half goal may seem a while away now, but he goes for his second but times his jump all wrong and heads way over.

90+2 min: The final stages here as Jose Mourinho is all set to make it two wins from two as the new manager of Spurs.

Son could add a fifth, but he dallies on the ball and the chance peters out.
