Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival in 2009 drew around 70,000 supporters to the stadium, but Madrid pushed that close with Hazard's arrival, as the first statement signing the club have made for some time.
Hazard completed his transfer from Chelsea this week for an initial fee of £89m, which could rise to as much as £150m with add-ons. He joins Luka Jovic among several new arrivals as Madrid look to revitalise the team under returning manager Zinedine Zidane.

↵It is a PACKED Santiago Bernabeu tonight. What a welcome. My first day at The Independent was similar.
Everyone's favourite club president Florentino Perez takes the mic. "Those here in charge of the club look to take the club forward and build on the legacy of Santiago Bernabeu, who brought the best players in the world to Madrid.
"We are Real Madrid. We want more titles, more success, and always win."
"I want to welcome Eden Hazard. The fans will be behind you in every game. The fans know that you are unique, that your brand of football is special."
And here comes Eden...
Eden Hazard speaks! "Hello everyone! [in Spanish]."
"I'm going to speak in French as I still need to improve in Spanish [in French, obviously]. Thanks to the president, my friends and family. I look forward to pulling on this shirt. Since I was a young child it was my dream to play for this club. I just want to enjoy my time with this club. Thank you all."
Hazard will speak a little more later. First he holds up his new shirt along side Florentino Perez, before being joined by his family members on the stage. His mum (I presume it's his mum) looks pleased as punch.
