Your support makes all the difference.Celtic‘s domination of Scottish football continued with an absorbing 1-0 Betfred Cup final win over Old Firm rivals Rangers at Hampden Park.
The Light Blues passed up a series of chances with Hoops goalkeeper Fraser Forster making key saves to keep the game scoreless at the interval.
Rangers were punished for those missed opportunities when Celtic defender Christopher Jullien knocked in a Ryan Christie free-kick in the 59th minute.
Forster then saved a penalty from Alfredo Morelos, after Hoops right-back Jeremie Frimpong had been sent off by referee Willie Collum for fouling the striker inside the box.
Neil Lennon’s 10 men held out for their 10th consecutive trophy win and his first success in the tournament as a manager, as Celtic delivered a psychological blow to Rangers, who have gone eight years without a major piece of silverware.

Draw 7/4

23 min: Rangers 0-0 Celtic
Morelos sweep through again, shimmies in either direction to make space for a shot and drills the ball towards the near-post. This time there's no mistake from Forster though.
26 min: Rangers 0-0 Celtic
This time it's Celtic who strike danger from a corner as Ajer's head flashes over.
28 min: Rangers 0-0 Celtic
Chance! Morelos comes so close to breaking his Old Firm duck. He wins the race to the long ball over the top, easily shakes off Ajer and cuts inside. With nobody in support he smashes a shot at Forster and the ball flicks off the inside of the goalkeeper's heel for a corner.
32 mins: Rangers 0-0 Celtic
Celtic are slowly gaining a foothold and surge forward on the counter-attack. Morgan bears down on goal but out of nowhere Jack dives in from behind and claws the ball away. It's a brilliant challenge but he's hurt his knee in the process and goes off to receive treatment.
35 mins: Rangers 0-0 Celtic
The Celtic half of the crowd vent their anger as Morelos deliberately shunts his body into the defender rather than leaping for the aerial ball. He gets a stern telling off from the referee but he's already got away with a few of those.
39 mins: Rangers 0-0 Celtic
What a save! Forster is the only reason Celtic aren't at least two behind by now. There's neat interplay in the build-up before Morelos is played in. The angle is tight but instead of trying to place it, the striker loads up a huge shot which blasts it into Forster's legs.
41 mins: Rangers 0-0 Celtic
It's getting feistier now. Kamara picks up the first booking of the match after hauling back Frimpong.
44 mins: Celtic 0-0 Rangers
Rangers have sprung into another spell of dominance as the first half ends in as breathless fashion as it started. Morelos is almost played in again but Forster is quick to rush out and prevent any danger.
