At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Follow all the action as Manchester United host last season’s semi-finalists RB Leipzig in the Champions League group stage at Old Trafford this evening.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side enjoyed the perfect start to their European campaign, defeating Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 at the Parc des Princes. However, United have been in indifferent form domestically, taking just seven points from their opening five Premier League games.

Leipzig lost their star striker, Timo Werner, in the summer but have begun the Bundesliga season in excellent fashion, currently topping the league under prodigious young manager Julian Nagelsmann, having dropped just two points thus far. Follow all the action below:

GOAL! Man United 2-0 RB Leipzig

A VAR review shows that Rashford ran through from right on the halfway line - so in his own half, and thus could not be offside. So Rashford’s goal stands and United have a 2-0 lead!

50' - Man United 1-0 RB Leipzig

United pass their way out of defence, evading the Leipzig press over and over again, but without really making ground. Upamecano surges forward on a dribble, then is out of position as United counter. Konate handles the ball and United scream for a penalty, but it was only as he fell down and the ball rolled against him. No spot-kick.
