Palace took the lead through Andros Townsend after just seven minutes, and they doubled their advantage on 74 minutes when Wilfried Zaha netted a re-take from the penalty spot after David de Gea stepped off his line when saving Jordan Ayew’s initial effort.
United debutant Donny van de Beek came off the bench to pull one back for the hosts, but Zaha bagged his brace with five minutes remaining at Old Trafford to put the result beyond doubt. Re-live all the updates below:

24 mins: Everton aren’t really flowing here but Richarlison gets a half chance. He gives it to Gomes and runs into the box. Gomes feeds it back to him and Richarlison shoots but misses to the left of goal.
21 mins: Off the post! West Brom work the ball up the pitch nicely and Pereira passes it out wide to Furlong. He crosses the ball into the box from the right, Robinson flicks it on with his head and Livermore shoots. Pickford leaps to his right and gets a fingertip to the ball, pushing it onto the left hand post.
