Pep Guardiola‘s men remain on course for an historic quadruple, with the side already having lifted the League Cup earlier this year.
But Chris Hughton, who was part of the Tottenham side that beat City and lifted the FA Cup in 1981, will be hoping for a repeat of history today when his men go up against the competition favourites. Follow the live action below:

Far from a vintage cup tie, and only a fourth-minute goal separates the sides at full-time.
Manchester City do just enough to keep their quadruple hopes alive, and they'll return to Wembley for the final. They will surely need to be better than this to beat either Watford or Wolves, who meet in the second semi-final tomorrow.
A brave and battling effort from Brighton, who are unlucky to come out on the losing side. They just lacked the quality in the final third required on an afternoon where, really, Manchester City were there for the taking.

Wolves and Watford battle tomorrow to meet them, and the two seventh-placed chasers will be heartened by how flat their prospective final opponents were.
