From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Liverpool host Southampton at Anfield this afternoon and the question now seems to be when and how they win the Premier League title, rather than if.

With 70 points gathered already, the Reds are on the verge of clinching their first Premier League title for 30 years and there is a real possibility of going the whole season unbeaten, as well as reaching the highest points tally in the league's history.

Southampton are having a fine season, currently sitting in ninth, and the Saints can treat this one as a free hit with the chance to cause a shock. Follow it live:

Man Utd 0 - 0 Wolves

72 mins: Pereira has a good chance on goal. Luke Shaw attacks down the left wing and plays the ball into the box. It takes a deflection and falls to Pereira who shoots straight at Rui Patricio.

It's his last action of the game as Mason Greenwood comes on to replace him.

Man Utd 0 - 0 Wolves

75 mins: Traore is down on the ground with an injured left leg. He's going to be replaced by Podence but we've wasted about two minutes getting him onto the pitch.

Man Utd 0 - 0 Wolves

78 mins: Wolves put the ball out so that Traore could be seen to but as it felt like a delaying tactic, United keep hold of the ball.

Wan Bissaka crosses the ball into the box but Coady clears it with a header.

Oh my! Greenwod takes a shot from range, it hits Boly and then Coady. Rui Patricio is wrong footed but the second deflection puts the ball back into his path and he makes the save.

Man Utd 0 - 0 Wolves

81 mins: Wolves have a corner as we enter the final 10 minutes. They play it short for some mad reason and Martial clears the ball when the cross does come in.

Man Utd 0 - 0 Wolves

84 mins: Luke Shaw slides in on Podence, who was trying to counter attack, and he picks up a yellow card. Shaw's had a tough day tracking Traore and it's not getting easier with Podence.

Wolves attack the right wing, Podence gets the ball into the box and Doherty shoots but Maguire blocks it and gives away a corner.

Man Utd 0 - 0 Wolves

87 mins: Fred sends a free kick into the box and the ball is flicked on and comes to Harry Maguire. He shoots and wins a corner.

Lingard and Dalot come on for James and Mata.

Man Utd 0 - 0 Wolves

90 mins: Manchester United are pressing high, they want the winning goal. Wolves may get a counter attack out of this but they're defending very deep.

Jimenez goes off for Dendoncker. He takes 53 seconds to walk off the pitch, which is a joke.

There's fur added minutes to play.

Man Utd 0 - 0 Wolves

90+3 mins: Wan Bissaka puts a brilliant cross into the box. Dalot wins the header, he's on his own, he's free on goal and he puts it wide!

Michael Jones1 February 2020 19:22

Man Utd 0 - 0 Wolves

90+4 mins: That's it. The points are shared, a contest of defence and fear comes to an end. Manchester United didn't take enough risks, they didn't want to win hard enough.

Wolves came with a gameplan and executed it well. They had chances on goal but didn't take them. A point each is pretty fair but Man Utd will feel they've left two points out on the pitch.

Bruno Fernandes was a saving grace for Man Utd, he looks like a solid purchase and will bolster their mid-field.

Anthony Martial was absent for most of the game, he looks seriously goal shy and isn't stepping up to the mark.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer faces more questions after that performance.
