From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Follow all the action as Leeds United host Arsenal in the Premier League this afternoon.

Marcelo Biela’s side enjoyed a promising start on their return to the top flight, however, back-to-back defeats prior to the international break served a reminder of the challenges to come. Ten points from eight games is hardly disastrous, though, and in Patrick Bamford Leeds boast one of England’s most prolific strikers on current form.

For all Mikel Arteta’s sweeping changes at Arsenal, they are still a side afflicted by wild swings of inconsistency. Their fabulous victory over Manchester United sent spirits sky-rocketing but a horrendous thrashing by Aston Villa proved why Arsenal remain very much a work in progress. They begin the game in 14th place and need a strong series of results to bolster their top four credentials. Follow all the action below live:

Five things we learned as 10-man Arsenal hold on to draw against Leeds

Nicolas Pepe’s sending-off left the already inferior visitors up against it

Michael Jones22 November 2020 18:25

Leeds 0 - 0 Arsenal

90+5 mins: Full time. That’s a really good point for Arsenal. Down to 10-men after 55 minutes, not much of a threat on goal throughout and Leeds hitting every part of the woodwork without finding a way through. Marcelo Bielsa will feel his side have let two points slip through their fingers in this one.

Michael Jones22 November 2020 18:23

Leeds 0 - 0 Arsenal

90+3 mins: Bukayo Saka looks in a bit of bother. He came on as a substitute and now limps off the pitch. Ainsley Maitland-Niles replaces him for the last couple of minutes.

Leeds 0 - 0 Arsenal

90 mins: Five added minutes to play at Elland Road. It’s still anyone’s game. Poveda’s shot is blocked by Gabriel but Klich pounces on the rebound and hits it over the bar.

TEAM NEWS - LIVERPOOL VS LEICESTER

Bernd Leno is having some treatment for a cut on his lebow so let’s take a look at the team news for Liverpool vs Leicester:

Michael Jones22 November 2020 18:16

Leeds 0 - 0 Arsenal

87 mins: Cooper picks up a yellow card for a late tackle on Ceballos. Nelson swings the free kick into the box from the right wing and Leeds clear the ball.

Off the post! Poveda with a chipped cross from the right. Bamford with the header but hits the left hand post and bounces away!

Michael Jones22 November 2020 18:14

Leeds 0 - 0 Arsenal

84 mins: Leeds are starting to work the goalkeeper. Poveda on the right goes past Tierney and takes a shot but like those before him the substitute cannot beat Leno.

Bellerin bursts forward on the counter attack and plays and nice pass through the middle of the centre backs. Saka storms through the gap, picks up the ball and shoots. Meslier comes off is line, forces Saka to the left side of the box and then sticks out a hand to block the shot.

Michael Jones22 November 2020 18:11

Leeds 0 - 0 Arsenal

81 mins: Off the bar! Leeds substitute Rodrigo cuts in from the right and hits one with his left foot. It’s a sweet strike that beat Leno and Arsenal are saved by the crossbar!

Michael Jones22 November 2020 18:06

Leeds 0 - 0 Arsenal

78 mins: Tierney wins a corner for the Gunners. This could be their best chance to score but it’s very, very poor and doesn’t get past Bamford guarding the near post. What a waste.
