Marcelo Biela’s side enjoyed a promising start on their return to the top flight, however, back-to-back defeats prior to the international break served a reminder of the challenges to come. Ten points from eight games is hardly disastrous, though, and in Patrick Bamford Leeds boast one of England’s most prolific strikers on current form.

For all Mikel Arteta’s sweeping changes at Arsenal, they are still a side afflicted by wild swings of inconsistency. Their fabulous victory over Manchester United sent spirits sky-rocketing but a horrendous thrashing by Aston Villa proved why Arsenal remain very much a work in progress. They begin the game in 14th place and need a strong series of results to bolster their top four credentials. Follow all the action below live:
Arsenal are unbeaten in their last five away games against Leeds in all competitions, winning the last four in a row by an aggregate score of 15-4.
This one should be a cracker. Both teams have been up and down in terms of form but Leeds play well at home. They’ve been electric since coming up from the Championship and will look to score goals. Arsenal struggled in their last game against Aston Villa but Mikel Arteta will hope to turn that around today.

Sheffield United are the third side in Premier League history to pick up just one point (or fewer) from their opening nine games in a season, after Man City in 1995/96 and Sheffield Wednesday in 1999/00. Both these sides were relegated.
Ominous signs for Chris Wilder’s men.
Sheffield Utd 0 - 1 West Ham
90+3 mins: Full time. No we aren’t. West Ham closed out the match we top professionalism, keeping the ball in the corners, making their substitutions and maintaining possession. Sebastien Haller’s strike is the difference between the teams.
West Ham move up to eighth whilst Sheffield United still languish at the bottom of the table.
Sheffield Utd 0 - 1 West Ham
90 mins: Three added minutes to go. Are we in for some stoppage time drama?
Sheffield Utd 0 - 1 West Ham
87 mins: I think that sums up West Ham’s thinking. Cresswell brings the ball forward and leaves it for Masuaku. The option is there for him to run in behind and await a pass but instead he drops back and falls into line in defence and Masuaku tries to find a way into the box on his own. Safety first from the Hammers.
